This 8-hour POST training is designed for supervisors to learn practical tools to strengthen their own resilience while building a culture of wellness within their departments. Ms. Ridgeway will be joined by Commander Tim Harris, who will share practical, real-world insight and strategies for supporting the well-being of personnel in today’s demanding law enforcement environment.

Supervisors will explore how their leadership can directly influence the resilience, health, and effectiveness of their teams—and leave with tools they can put into practice immediately.

Marie is assisted in this training by multiple law enforcement officers. In addition to teaching all the foundational components of being a peer support team member, we will also teach you the basics of setting up a team, running it, and maintaining it. We will teach you how to conduct defusings at your agency and we will provide you with options for clinical consultation for your team.
